How we specify a lot.
This page describes the methods behind every lot. Mass and availability for each isolate live on its product page.
- 01
Identity
Identity is confirmed by HPLC against a qualified reference standard. When a primary standard is on allocation, we run NMR or LC-MS instead and say so on the COA.
- 02
Assay
Assay is reported as % w/w of the named cannabinoid. Water-dispersible SKUs report assay as cannabinoid-in-powder on a w/w basis, so the number reflects the powder you receive rather than the isolate that went into it.
- 03
Residuals
The residual-solvent panel follows ICH Q3C classes as they apply to the process. Heavy-metal and pesticide screens ship with the lot pack when you request them.
- 04
Physicals
Appearance, water activity, and storage condition are reported for each lot. Acidic species (CBDA, CBGA) should be held at 2–8 °C after receipt unless the COA says otherwise.
- 05
Origin
Origin is disclosed on the COA for each lot. Hemp-origin lots follow the 2018 Farm Bill definition at biomass, though not every isolate we sell is hemp-derived. THCV and isomer-adjacent materials need a destination review before we ship.
- 06
Release
A lot is marked Available only after identity and assay clear. Until then it stays Coming Soon, because we don't list a mass until the lot exists.
The document
What the COA header reports.
Every lot ships with a certificate laid out like this. The values are measured per lot and printed there, not here.
- Lot no.
- Printed on the pack; matches the COA
- Material
- Named cannabinoid · CAS
- Identity
- HPLC vs qualified reference standard · NMR / LC-MS disclosed if substituted
- Assay
- % w/w of the named cannabinoid · measured value on the lot
- Δ9-THC
- Reported per lot
- Residuals
- Solvents (ICH Q3C) · heavy metals · pesticides — on request
- Physicals
- Appearance · water activity · storage condition · origin
- Release
- Identity and assay cleared → tier marked Available
What we claim
We specify identity, purity, residuals, physicals and origin. We do not attach sleep, mood, cognitive, or disease claims to an ingredient lot. What you read here is the specification you would put on a purchase order.
