Sleepz
Seven hours
needs a formula.
Sleepz is a timed-release sleep formula built to last a whole night rather than a single pulse. It is coming soon, and it is a different product from the CBN isolate we sell to formulators.

A night is architecture,
not a dose.
Adult sleep is not one state. It is NREM and REM alternating about every 90–110 minutes. The first cycle is often shorter (70–100 min); later cycles run 90–120. A seven-hour night is four or five of them.
Two pressures shape the stack. Process S — homeostatic slow-wave drive — is highest at lights-out, so N3 dominates the first third. Process C — the circadian rise — lengthens REM toward morning. A formula that dumps once at bedtime sits in the N3 window and is gone before the REM-heavy last third.
- 70–100 min
- Typical first NREM–REM cycle.
- 4–5
- Cycles in a seven-hour night.
- Last third
- When REM episodes are longest.

What 36 people
told us.
An unpublished observational cohort in California, followed for six months. Participants self-reported their sleep, and we estimated the change in REM. This was not a clinical trial.
01
81%
improved sleep by 25% or more
Self-reported. This is the share of participants who reported at least a 25% improvement, not an average.
02
~19%
estimated REM increase
An estimate from the same cohort. It does not come from a published sleep-lab study.
03
6 mo
follow-up
Adults were followed for six months rather than a short lab visit.
04
n=36
California, unpublished
An observational cohort with no randomization and no melatonin comparison.

Special release
One dose.
The length of a night.
A single-pulse formula is gone before the last cycles of the night. Sleepz is built in three phases, onset, hold, and dawn, so the later REM-heavy hours are covered too.
- 0–1 h · Onset
- 1–5 h · Hold
- 5–7 h · Dawn
01
Onset
The first cycle. Into N2, then deep.
02
Hold
Hours two through five, with no sharp drop.
03
Dawn
Later cycles, when REM is longest.
A pulse versus a night.
| Single pulse | Sleepz | |
|---|---|---|
| Coverage | First cycle | Seven hours |
| Late REM | Usually missed | Designed in |
| Shape | Spike, then drop | Onset · hold · dawn |
| Status | Common | Coming soon |
Sleep architecture
How a night is built.
These are typical young-adult proportions from sleep-medicine texts, not figures from our cohort. N3 (slow-wave) makes up 10–20% of the night and sits mostly in the first third. REM is 20–25% and concentrates in the last third. Sleepz is designed around that seven-hour pattern.
N1 · 2–5% of the night
Light
Theta, slow eye rolls. One to seven minutes. Easy to reverse.
N2 · 45–55% of the night
Stable
Most of the night. Spindles and K-complexes. Lengthens as later cycles lose N3.
N3 · 10–20% of the night
Deep
Slow-wave. Front-loaded — first third of the night. Often gone from later cycles.
REM · 20–25% of the night
Dream
First bout is minutes. Last bouts can run 30–60 min. Tied to the circadian rise.
A seven-hour night, cycle by cycle
A schematic for a healthy young adult. The first cycle is shorter and later cycles run longer, with the mix of stages shifting as the night goes on. This is textbook architecture, not data from the California observation.
Cycle 1
~70–100 min
Entered through NREM. N3-heavy. First REM is short — often a few minutes.
Cycle 2
~90–120 min
Still slow-wave in the NREM half. REM starts to lengthen.
Cycle 3
~90–120 min
N3 shrinking. N2 expands. REM takes a larger share.
Cycle 4–5
last third
N3 may disappear. Longest REM. Cutting this window costs REM, not deep sleep.

What the label
will not say.
We only put on the label what the evidence supports, and right now that evidence is one unpublished observation.
- It will not say “clinically proven,” because the cohort is observational and unpublished.
- It will not compare Sleepz to melatonin, because we have not run that comparison.
- It will not describe Sleepz as an FDA-authorized sleep aid.
- It will not be confused with the CBN isolate, which is a separate ingredient we sell to formulators.
Who Sleepz is for
- People who want a seven-hour formula when it ships.
- Brands on the waitlist. Sleepz is a finished formula, so a CBN jug bought today is not the same product.
- Formulators who need CBN isolate today can buy it now.
Who it is not for
- Anyone treating a diagnosed sleep disorder as if this were a drug.
- Buyers who need a melatonin comparison, because we have not run one.
- Procurement teams looking for a posted price, because there is not one yet.

Questions
What is Sleepz?
Sleepz is a timed-release sleep formula from Peregrine Biopharma. It is still in development and is a different product from the CBN isolate we sell to formulators.
What does 7-hour release mean?
The release is designed to span a typical night, from onset through the middle hours and into the later REM-heavy cycles, rather than delivering everything at once.
What was the study?
An unpublished observational cohort in California followed 36 adults over 6 months. 81% reported sleep improved by 25% or more, and REM was estimated to increase by about 19%. The study was not randomized, did not compare against melatonin, and has not been evaluated by the FDA.
Is this published?
No. The observation is unpublished, so it should not be read as clinical proof.
How was REM estimated?
It is an estimate drawn from the same cohort rather than a sleep-lab measurement, which is why we write it as roughly 19%.
Is the hypnogram from your study?
No. The stage shares and cycle lengths on this page are textbook young-adult sleep architecture from Carskadon & Dement and AASM staging. The California observation is a separate, unpublished cohort of 36 people.
Can I buy Sleepz today?
Not yet. You can join the waitlist, and if you need cannabinol for your own formula, CBN isolate is available now.
