What are minor cannabinoids?
Minor cannabinoids are phytocannabinoids other than the two bulk commodities, Δ9-THC and CBD. The group includes CBG, CBN, CBC, THCV, CBDV, CBGV, CBL and CBT. They are low-abundance in a hemp crop, which is why they are isolated in production campaigns and sold as named, CAS-numbered isolates at ≥99.9% purity rather than as a commodity.
Origin
Abundance in biomass has nothing to do with importance in a formula. Isolating a minor is a production campaign, which is why some kilogram tiers show Coming Soon until a lot exists.
