Pentyl branch

What is CBD?

CBD (cannabidiol) is a non-intoxicating phytocannabinoid, formula C21H30O2, CAS 13956-29-1. The plant makes CBDA from CBGA via CBDA synthase, and heat removes CO₂ to give CBD. It is an isomer of CBC and THC. Peregrine publishes this monograph for formulators who work with the minor cannabinoids alongside CBD; CBD isolate is not currently something we sell.

Questions

Is Peregrine CBD a medicine?

No. This is an education page. Epidiolex is a prescription drug from another company with its own regulatory file, and CBD isolate is not currently one of the isolates we sell.

Evidence language follows CBG Atlas (Peregrine-funded; editorial independence). Not medical advice. Not a disease claim.
