What is Cannflavin A?
A prenylated flavone that occurs in Cannabis sativa, with the molecular formula C26H28O6 and a molecular weight of 436.50. The plant makes it by prenylating chrysoeriol, which puts it on a different biosynthetic branch from every cannabinoid in the catalog — it does not descend from CBGa and it is not a cannabinoid.
